David Chesworth

David Chesworth is an artist who works with music, sound, video, installation and performance. He also collaborates with other artists, in particular Sonia Leber.

He co-founded Australian post-punk experimental group Essendon Airport and his early solo vinyl releases include 50 Synthesizer Greats and Layer on Layer. He has composed a series of experimental operas, including three works with Chamber Made Opera. Chesworth and Leber’s two-channel video work Zaum Tractor was exhibited at the 56th Venice Biennale - All The World’s Futures.
