Daniela Bretes Maciel Elneff

Daniela Bretes Maciel Elneff is a sound designer and transdisciplinary artist. She works at SOKU, Struer Museum, where she explores sonic cultural heritage, and how we can become better at listening to the past, present and future. As an artist, she explores the intersection of natural science with sound-artistic practice. She works with post-humanistic theory to create speculative spaces for listening and forming a deeper sensitivity towards plants and other lifeforms. Daniela has exhibited at venues including Kunsthal Aarhus, Ars Electronica (AT) and Hanarart (JP). Daniela holds a BA in Art & Technology and a MSc. in Audio Design.
